Calvary’s Place

Calvary’s Place is a family community center outreach that launched out of our church in January 2017.

Calvary’s Place serves over 60 families in our community by providing groceries and diapers at a significantly reduced cost, childcare, snacks, fun, games, and various self-improvement classes for the adults.

The most important thing our 50+ volunteers provide these families is the love, acceptance, and hope that can only be found in Jesus Christ.

Summit Elementary Tutoring

Summit Elementary Tutoring is one of the ways Calvary Alliance Church seeks to love our neighbors and serve our local community in tangible, meaningful ways.

Each week, volunteers from Calvary partner with Summit Elementary School to provide academic support, encouragement, and consistent presence to students who benefit from extra help. Through one-on-one and small-group tutoring, we come alongside students as they grow in confidence, build skills, and discover that they are seen, valued, and capable.

This outreach is rooted in relationship. We believe that showing up regularly, listening well, and offering patient support matters just as much as academic progress. Our hope is that students experience not only help with schoolwork, but also care, dignity, and encouragement through trusted adults who are committed to their growth.

Fellowship Fun Night

The first Thursday night of every month our church sends a group of volunteers to City Gospel Mission’s in-resident addiction recovery program to connect and serve the men and women that are taking part in the recovery program.

We share dessert, laughter, a bible devotion, and group games together.

This group carpools in the church van and meets at the church at 6:15pm.

Serving Dinner at City Gospel Mission

The fourth Thursday night of every month our church sends a group of volunteers to City Gospel Mission’s Homeless Shelter to serve dinner the men who are staying there.

In addition to serving food, this group of volunteers share smiles, encouragement, and hope to the men at the shelter.

This group carpools in the church van and meets at the church at 5:45pm.
