Youth
Paul said to Timothy, “Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity.” (I Timothy 4:12) We continue to encourage our teens that they are not the church of tomorrow, they are the church of today. Our students are challenged to apply the Scriptures to the situations of a challenging world. In turn, they challenge all of us to live a passionate life in Jesus.
Bible Studies
Classes are available for junior and senior highers during the Sunday School hour at 9:15. Bible studies also meet through the week at various times. Calvary Alliance Church is blessed with a number of experienced adults who love to interact with our teens around the Word of God.
Timothy Groups
Through the Timothy Group ministry, an adult is partnered with two or three teens for a long term mentoring relationship. Most teens will have the same Timothy group mentor throughout their six years in the youth ministry. Through intentional, multigenerational connection, relationships are formed that will last a lifetime.
Service and Mission Projects
As a part of the life of a Christ-follower, our students are encouraged to serve God by serving others. Many of our teens serve seniors in our body. Our kids have worked on service projects throughout Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky. In the last few years our students travelled to the mountains of eastern Kentucky with Kentucky Mountain Mission the Dominican Republic with Wings Global Outreach.
